Dubai-Based Designer L’Afshar Was ‘In Awe’ Of Beyoncé Wearing Her Label
Fans think the posts are a nod to her new album
Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, quite possibly the most influential woman on this planet, released a series of lavender-themed posts this week on Instagram that featured the IDA bag from Dubai-based handbag brand L’Afshar.
In her posts, the global superstar is seen donning a checkered wrap dress from Altuzarra, glamourous cat-eye sunglasses from Austrian brand Andy Wolf and the bold violet-hued L’Afshar IDA bag, which brings a playful pop of colour to her lavender and white ensemble.
Speaking exclusively to BAZAAR, L’Afshar’s designer Lillian Afshar commented, “I’m currently on holiday in Tuscany and I was strangely surrounded by so many bees yesterday, what a coincidence! I was in awe waking up to see such an empowering icon like Beyoncé carrying a bag from my brand.”
This is the second time that Queen Bey was spotted carrying her purple IDA L’Afshar bag, the first was earlier this year when she stepped out in Beverly Hills on hubby Jay Z’s arm.
As always, they were published without any captions or tagged, have since caused a huge stir on social media with fans, many of whom commented on the post speculating that the images are a nod to her new album.
Crafted from embossed crocodile, the IDA bag features a distinct boxy silhouette, single leather top handle and detachable chains which make it a versatile, contemporary statement piece. The celebrity favorite handbag has also recently been spotted on A-listers Emily Ratajkowski, Kylie Jenner, Jasmine Sanders, Rachel Bilson and Celine Dion
