Queen Rania and King Abdullah of Jordan made a visit to families in Ghor Fiefa this weekend. The royals were shown development initiatives implemented by civil society organisations in the area and visited the local kindergarten to meet some of the 42 pupils.
After hosting an Iftar dinner in the perfect checked summer dress, the mother-of-four stepped out in another on-trend number that we’ll soon be coveting. Her majesty looked chic as ever in a black dress that features hand-embroidery in multi-colours from Kumbaz, a Jordanian fashion house that specialises in dresses and kaftans created using traditional design techniques and materials.
A brand who combines traditional heritage with modern influences Kumbaz was founded in 1986 and is run by Fatina Asfour, who is based in Amman. This is not the first time Queen Rania has been spotted in said label, the humanitarian and activist has made several public appearances clad in a design from this regional designer.
