Walk through the Insta-ready oversized illuminated archways by the former Hermès site to access the newest fashion floor, and it’s clear that the new Fashion Avenue extension is here to make a major impact on Dubai’s credit card statements. Following last week’s soft-open, the new section of the mall is home to 150 luxury brands, including a host of new flagship stores for some of the industry’s biggest names including Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Cartier, Symphony, Mikimoto, Rolex and the relocated Hermès boutique.

Catch up with the latest in everything Bazaar, airing on the interactive display, or flick through our latest issue for some last-minute inspiration. Post an Instagram snap of yourself enjoying the new lounge with the hashtag #BazaarxDubaiMall for a chance to have a space in your home transformed by one of the Harper’s Bazaar interior design specialists.

In a regional-first, the Gucci DIY service is also on-hand to offer a personalisation service on certain products.
