To celebrate the launch of her new book Paris through a Fashion Eye, an illustrated guide to one of the world’s most-loved fashion cities, Fairmont the Palm will be hosting a Megan Hess-themed afternoon tea in honour of the former House of Bazaar speaker and special guest.

The afternoon tea will be available in the award-winning Mashrabiya Lounge’s at the five-star hotel throughout November, after Hess’ appearance and singing on the 2nd, and is aptly named after the book that it’s a tribute to, Paris through a Fashion Eye. Pastry Chef Arnaud Souchet and his team are recreating all the usual offerings, from warm scones with fresh, clotted cream to delicate macaroons and dainty finger sandwiches, with a fashionable twist. Guests will also have an array of herbal teas to juice from, plus a refreshing glass of fizzy date juice.

Everything from the décor to the food is inspired by the colours and the themes of the book, so expect lots of blush pink, gold and black, plus Parisian-themed treats. And if that’s not enough, book your experience now and you’ll receive a copy of the book itself. Instagram at the ready, ladies!
