In December 2018, Amal Clooney made a stunning appearance at the 70th United Nations Correspondents Associations (UNCA) Awards, where she was honoured with the Global Citizen of the Year award. For the special occasion she donned a blue-and-white silk gown by J. Mendel paired with diamond earrings and a navy box clutch.
In the same week as the UNCA Awards, Amal also attended the 2018 Nobel Peace Prize ceremony in Norway, where she made a speech on behalf of the co-winner Nadia Murad. For the occasion, the mother-of-twins chose a raspberry-coloured tweed two-piece from Oscar de la Renta.
Over the summer, George and Amal were spotted near their holiday home in Lake Como at the Villa D’Este restaurant, where Amal chose a black and white silk striped ‘Bias’ maxi dress from Michelle Mason. She paired it with the nude ‘Nina’ bag from Gabriela Hearst.
In New York this September, Clooney was spotted on her way to a UN event wearing a red Oscar de la Renta caped dress and minimal accessories.
