Beyoncé may not have walked home with a Golden Globe, but she definitely left with everyone’s appreciation for her stunning gown – and she didn’t even make it to the red carpet!
The nominated singer attended this Sunday to the 77th annual Golden Globe Awards in a head-turning bias-cut custom Schiaparelli Haute Couture gown which was especially designed by the brand’s Creative Director, Daniel Roseberry. The form-fitting black silk crepe dress featured a long trumpet-skirt, sculptural, avant-garde gold mesh sleeves and a plunging neckline that highlighted the superstar's voluptuous figure and striking colouring.
Queen Bey went on to accessorise her show-stopping gown with Lorraine Schwartz jewellery which included a pair of unmissable chandelier earrings that featured more than 250 carats of diamonds. To complete the decadent look, Beyonce added on four Lorraine Schwatrz rings, adding in another 73 carats of dimaonds to the mix for a total of $8 million (Dhs29,400,000) worth of jewellery for the night.
Hubby Jay-Z looked every bit the hip-hop mogul in a stylish black tuxedo look. The rapper wore a Tom Ford Windsor velvet blazer and a satin butterfly-shaped bow tie to add an edgy touch to his classic look.
Once again, the Carter’s stole the spotlight in style.
