Draped in more than a million sequins to wed Elie Saab Jr. in Lebanon, all eyes were on Christina Mourad - and her three gowns.
For the religious ceremony in Bkerki, Elie Saab and his team created a custom bridal gown in ivory silk for the bride, that comprised 500,000 sequins hand-sewn with champagne lurex threads.
Adding a conservative touch to the look, the designer created a high-collar bodice, complete with a 4.5 meter trail.
After the religious ceremony, 1,200 guests made their way to the Faqra Club and Christina slipped into another Elie Saab Haute Couture number, which was arguably even more glamorous than the first.
The gown detailed a gold and beige rosé heart shape corset, embellished with 650,000 gold sequins and 150,000 Swarovski strass pieces.
The dress featured a voluminous skirt with a 3.5 metre traill inspired by the brand's Haute Couture autumn/winter 2019 collection.
With a exclusive guest-list of people who ooze opulence and a venue that looked like it had been plucked straight out of a fairy-tale, we'll be swooning over this wedding for years to come.
