Bespoke Treasures: Extraordinary Craftsmanship Adorns FerriFirenze’s Collections

Inspired by its Italian heritage and ancient techniques, the high jewellery brand is rewriting the love affair that women have with gems and precious stones

Located in the heart of Florence, nestled amongst the lush green hills of Tuscany, is a little workshop that is abuzz with artisans. It is here that they meet to create designs for modern women in every corner of the world, bringing them to life with age-old handcrafting techniques that are rare and precious.

When it comes to taking pride and responsibility in the design process to ensure it imbibes tradition, culture, and heritage – Ilaria Furlotti and Giulio, the founders of FerriFirenze make no concessions. Their vision to create contemporary pieces for women who are led by their passion is found in the unique techniques seen in collections such as Crescendo, Spettinato and Waterfall.

From creating bespoke designs to dropping new collections every three months, inspired by skills as diverse as knitting, macrame, crochet, embroidery, and batik; FerriFirenze ensures every collection is produced with meticulous attention using conflict-free diamonds set in 18k yellow, white, and rose gold. Emeralds, rubies, and sapphires appear alongside hard and semi-precious stones such as Lapiz Lazuli, coral, and malachite, where the design remains a timeless ode to craftsmanship and heritage.

What remains a fascinating aspect of owning a FerriFirenze piece, is that each owner has a lifetime access to the atelier housed in the 16th-century Villa Corsi Salviati in the heart of Florence. It is here that they can return to rediscover their intimate relationship with the artisans and discover hidden treasures and techniques that have been preserved over the ages.

FerriFirenze is hosting its first-ever event in Saudi Arabia at the Jareed Hotel on January 23 till the 31st. The event will showcase the brand’s best-selling and new collections in Riyadh.
