Buccellati’s Reimagined High Jewellery Collections

Unveiled in Paris this month, the Italian brand has reinterpreted some of their most iconic styles for the latest high jewels

Displayed in the halls of the 1 rue de la Paix boutique during the Paris Haute Couture fashion shows on 4 and 5 July, these high jewellery collections play with versatility, colour and openwork styles using some of Buccellati’s trademark designs.

Available by special request through both Harvey Nichols and Bloomingdale’s in Dubai, the jewels include Buccellati’s renowned intricate goldsmithing techniques injected with a modern edge and bursts of colour.

Take a white gold cuff – the detail is instantly recognisable as Buccellati, but to the centre it features an openwork rosette set with a stunning large aquamarine. Or a sensuously curved bangle that plays with the traditional contrast of yellow and white featuring tulle gold outlined by diamonds.

Buccellati has also noted the demand for versatile jewels that can easily transform. Perhaps the most striking of such designs is their latest tiara – the ultimate bejeweled accessory that has been creatively styled so that it can also be worn as a necklace.

This tiara is part of the Carlotta high jewellery collection, which also includes a bejeweled watch. This is again styled in Buccellati’s renowned lace-like motif in openwork white gold and diamonds, with bursts of yellow gold detail accented with yellow diamonds on the strap and enclosing the circular dial.
