Fatima Al-Banawi, Ramla Ali, Moath Alofi and Abdulla Al Kaabi Celebrate The True Spirit of Ramadan With Cartier

The luxury Maison unveils a poetic short film, paying homage to three key virtues honoured throughout this special time of year: togetherness, generosity and sharing

Cartier has joined forces with its Friends of The Maison, unveiling a short film that captures the true essence of the Holy Month; starring Fatima Al-Banawi, Ramla Ali, Moath Alofi and Abdulla Al Kaabi, the video highlights the Maison’s core values of community and togetherness, reminding us of the importance of spending time with family, friends and loved ones during this special time of year.

Throughout the poetic short film the viewer is treated to the soothing voice of Saudi filmmaker Fatima Al-Banawi, who recites an expressive Arabic poem she penned in honour of Ramadan, touching on the overarching theme reflected throughout the video: “Togetherness is a jewel.”

“As Fatima Al-Banawi says so beautifully, this is an important and precious time to come together, to celebrate and to share treasured moments with loved ones,” says Sophie Doireau, Chief Executive Officer of Cartier for the Middle East, India and Africa.

“Her poem, brought to life by our Friends of the Maison, serves as a reminder that we are better together, working as one, towards a shared commitment to communities.”

While the poetic short film certainly highlights the importance of togetherness – especially after the past few years when celebrating holidays, life milestones and special occasions with loved ones came with a set of restrictions – it also emphasises just how precious time is and why coming together like “stars around a crescent moon” is truly a blessing.
