Exclusive: Alezan By SK’s Shanhan String Dancers Collection Preview

Be prepared to be suitably dazzled

Ahead of a private launch tomorrow, Dubai-based designer Salama Khalfan has given Bazaar an exclusive preview of her new String Dancers line, which is part of her jewellery label Alezan By SK’s Shanhan collection. 

Inspired by the Shang Dynasty, the collection revolves around the Shanhan, the first Chinese fan, which was created during this time period. It blends the brand’s signature horseshoe motif with the beauty of this ancient fan and juxtaposes gold textures with fine gemstones such as sapphires, garnets and diamonds.
