Hublot Supports Women’s Football With An Inspiring New Campaign

The luxury Swiss watchmaker is championing UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 with its Together #WePlayStrong campaign

Hublot’s reverence for football is well-known in the watch-making industry — and now the Swiss brand has teamed up with UEFA to sponsor its first UEFA Women’s EURO. The initiative honours Hublot’s commitment to the sport’s values and the Together #WePlayStrong campaign, which supports the development of women’s football in the region.

But this isn’t Hublot’s first foray into the realm of female football. The watchmaker supported the FIFA Women’s World Cup in 2015, and multiple UEFA Women’s events, including the famed Champions League since 2020.

“At Hublot, we love football; whether it is men’s or women’s football, for us it is and remains football. It is a sport full of passion and inspiration, which is open and accessible to players of both sexes. It still needs to grow and become more inclusive,” said Ricardo Guadalope, CEO of Hublot.

Ada Hegerberg

Hublot’s friends of the brand, Ada Hegerberg and Alexia Putellas are a living testament to its desire for inclusivity in the sport as well. Ada, who defended Norway on the pitch during the tournament, has been a star of her country’s national football team. Likewise, Alexia is a Barça legend and UEFA Women’s Player of the Year.

Both women are tremendous inspirations for a new generation of girls in the sport.

The UEFA Women’s EURO final will take place on July 31, 2022 at the Wembley Stadium in London, UK.
