Wedding bells will soon be ringing for actors Kate Bosworth and Justin Long. The celebrity couple announced that they were engaged on Justin’s podcast, Life’s Short – confirming rumours which had been circulating for weeks.
“We had just gone through this really hard thing and we had spoken to a therapist and we were trying to move through things at the time and she gave us a really great piece of advice which was: Make sure that you’re pretty consistently asking the other what you need, or asking the other what they need,” Kate said on the latest episode which aired yesterday.
“I remember waking up not so many mornings after that therapy session and I looked at Justin … I smiled at you, and I said, ‘What do you need?’ ” Kate continued. “And he really looked at me and he said, ‘To spend my life with you.’ “
“And I smiled and I said, ‘Well, yeah, you have that. Oh my gosh, you have that,’ and he said, ‘No, I mean I really want to spend my life with you,'” she recalled.
“It was the easiest … the words just came out, like, so naturally,” Justin added.
How long have Kate Bosworth and Justin Long been together?
The couple first met in 2021 when they were filming a movie together and rumours soon began that the pair were more than just friends, according to People Magazine. The officially announced they were in a relationship in January 2022.
The couple first sparked speculation that they could be engaged back in March 2023, when Kate appeared to be wearing an engagement ring to the Oscars.
How much is Kate Bosworth’s Ring worth?
While it’s impossible to tell without an official confirmation from the couple or their jeweller, wedding and engagement ring specialists Jessica Flinn reveals it could be worth an upward of $150,000 – or Dhs550,878.
“Kate Bosworth’s engagement ring which she debuted at the Oscars is a large round brilliant cut solitaire, with an approximately 5ct centre stone at the centre, value up to around £125,000 ($155,986),” she said.
