Celebrate Ramadan With Cartier’s Charming Panther

Pictured padding through glittering streets after sun down, the maison celebrates its most famous mascot this Ramadan

Cartier’s 2025 Ramadan campaign heroes its global mascot – the panther – as its protagonist, with a film that follows the majestic panther as it roams through magically lit streets, passing by Cartier’s glittering creations in its boutique windows. The panther is widely admired as a symbol of strength, and its effortless grace is synonymous with the maison’s elegant creations.

To mark the season, Cartier has a curation of jewellery and accessories available on cartier.com, including the maison’s iconic Panthère de Cartier collection, LOVE, and Juste Un Clou collection along with fine timepieces – the perfect token of appreciation for loved ones and family alike.

The panther motif’s history is rich and storied, associated with the house since 1914, thanks to a commission by Louis Cartier, the son of the maison’s original founder. Louis collaborated with French artist Georges Barbier, and the panther was first spotted on a bracelet for the Duchess of Windsor, Wallis Simpson, who was an avid collection of Cartier pieces in the 1930s. By the 1960s, the panther motif appeared upon the maison’s watch designs, with bracelets that echoed its supple svelte silhouette. Today, the motif appears in many different guises, both contemporary and classic, referencing both past and future, to be passed down the generations to come.
