Richard Mille Wows With Newest Timepieces

For a brand synonymous with men’s sports watches, Richard Mille has – rather cleverly – carved out a spot in the Middle East’s female watch market

Richard Mille’s new RM 07-02 Pink Lady Sapphire is a case in point. Inspired by a 1930s cocktail of the same name, the Pink Lady is cloaked in pink sapphires cut from a single block. A quick peek at the watch’s face reveals a dial complete with onyx and diamonds, kept in place with a luxurious alligator leather strap. 

Inside, meanwhile, technical characteristics range from gem-set gold bridges to a variable geometry rotor in 18K rose gold set with diamonds.

Like the Pink Lady Sapphire, the Swiss watchmaker is also hoping to captivate the region’s female watch wearers with its first gold bracelet. Exclusively designed for the RM 07-01 and the RM 037 models, the ‘Open Link’ is hand-made and hand-finished, and has been designed to offer women a more casual strap in their watch collection. – Tracey Scott
