In a momentous move set to redefine the creative landscape of the Middle East, L’ÉCOLE, School of Jewellery Arts, is proud to announce the official opening of its first permanent campus in Dubai.

The establishment of L’ÉCOLE’s first headquarters in the Middle East in Dubai underscores the city’s pivotal role in the creative industries and its commitment to pushing the boundaries of innovation,” Her Highness said in a statement.

Yesterday morning Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) and Member of The Executive Council of Dubai, inaugurated the school’s fourth location

Nestled within the dynamic Dubai Design District (d3), the campus marks a significant milestone in the journey of cultural enrichment and education in the region.

The inauguration of L’ÉCOLE Middle East’s campus signifies a convergence of French heritage and Middle Eastern culture, offering a myriad of opportunities for cross-cultural exchanges. Supported by Van Cleef & Arpels and curated by acclaimed designer Constance Guisset, the campus is located in Building 10 at d3 promises a welcoming space for enthusiasts to delve into the captivating world of jewellery.

From April onwards, the campus will come alive with an array of courses, workshops, exhibitions, and discussions, all aimed at igniting a passion for learning and creativity. Led by passionate experts in the field, participants will explore the history of jewellery, delve into the world of gemstones, and master the craftsmanship of jewellery-making techniques.

Notably, L’ÉCOLE’s commitment to education extends beyond its campus walls. Collaborations with Dubai Culture and Arts Authority and Dubai Cares underscore its dedication to enriching lives and nurturing talent. Proceeds from courses and talks will be donated to Dubai Cares, supporting youth education programs in developing countries.

To commemorate its grand opening, L’ÉCOLE presents the mesmerizing exhibition, Gold and Treasures: 3000 Years of Chinese Ornaments, showcasing masterpieces from the Mengdiexuan Collection alongside treasures from L’ÉCOLE’s own collection.

As Dubai continues to cement its position as a global hub for creativity and innovation, the arrival of L’ÉCOLE Middle East adds a sparkling gem to the city’s cultural crown.
