Swiss Haute horlogerie manufacturer Audemars Piguet proudly introduces the Royal Oak Mini, a refined quartz model with a mere 23 mm diameter, available in 18-carat yellow, white, or pink gold. Inspired by the original 20mm Mini Royal Oak launched in 1997, this collection presents a contemporary take on the iconic design with Frosted Gold, enhancing its jewellery-like appeal.
The Royal Oak Mini showcases a mesmerising play of light through its unique Frosted Gold finish, achieved by creating tiny indentations on the gold surface with a diamond-tipped tool. Inspired by an ancient Florentine method and revisited by designer Carolina Bucci, this technique imbues the watches with a brilliant stone-like sparkle. The Petite Tapisserie dial, adorned with faceted gold hour markers filled with luminescent material, further amplifies the elegance.
The Calibre 2730 quartz movement powers the Royal Oak Mini and offers over seven years of battery life. This movement includes a “switch” feature allowing wearers to temporarily deactivate the battery, aligning with contemporary lifestyles while maintaining haute horlogerie standards.
