This New App Will Decode Egyptian Hieroglyphs in Both Arabic and English

While traveling might be out of the question for some of us this summer, that doesn’t mean we can’t spend some of our down learning about various cultures from around the world.

Google has recently announced the launch of a new tool that can help decode Egyptian hieroglyphs in both Arabic and English.

Fabricius by Google provides individuals from all over the world with an interactive experience when it comes to learning about hieroglyphs. The app also aims to raise awareness about the history and heritage of ancient Egyptian civilization.

Fabricius can be downloaded for free via the Google Arts & Culture app , which also offers other virtual experiences and interactive apps from over other 2000 cultural institutions from around the world.

Users can also browse through the Google Arts & Culture website to learn more about pharaonic culture, ancient Egypt and topics related to King Tutankhamun, the Pyramids of Giza and the Book of the Dead.
