Porsche Celebrates Women Empowerment With A Few of The Region’s Most Inspiring Ladies
The luxury automotive company has tapped the likes Nayla Al Khaja and Adwa Al Dakheel, along with a few other notable women, to star in its new #DriveDefinesHer campaign
To mark the upcoming regional release of the latest Panamera model, Porsche has unveiled a brand new initiative that celebrates female empowerment with the #DriveDefinesHer campaign. In keeping with the model’s tagline of Drive Defines Us, the luxury automotive brand uncovered the untold stories of five highly ambitious women who are making significant strides within their respective lines of work, in order shine a spotlight on their achievements.
Overall, the campaign aims to encourage other women in the Middle East to pursue careers in what would traditionally be considered male-dominated professions.
Notable women starring in the campaign include Nayla Al Khaja, the first female film director and producer in the UAE; Porsche Middle East and Africa’s very own Shurooq Zainal, the legal and compliance director for the MEA region and first Emirati director in the company; Saudi Arabia’s Adwa Al Dakheel, a 28-year-old entrepreneur, athlete and designer; Kuwaiti architect Hend Almatrouk, owner of the urban design firm Studio Toggle; and German-born Aileen Fahr, Head of Region Africa at Porsche, who was born and raised in Dubai.
