Harper’s BAZAAR Arabia linked up with Fendi Kids and charitable children’s doll brand, Dumyé for a fun-filled afternoon

Little ones gathered in the FENDI Kids store, located in the Dubai Mall for a jam packed afternoon of fun, fabrics and fashion in The Dubai Mall for the BAZAAR X FENDI Kids event.

On show at the store was the oh-so-cute Ceremony Capsule Collection; a selection of mini-me designs together with new exclusive pieces of formal looks inspired by the FENDI Women’s and Men’s collections with touches of Couture that express the Maison’s DNA, yet with its own identity and irony.

Stylish accessories that have been designed to be elegantly paired with the garments included ballerinas, sandals, mink headbands and the new Mon Trésor bag for girls, while comfy leather slip-on moccasins complete the charming little outfits for boys.

The event also hosted charitable children’s doll brand, Dumyé, who encouraged the stylish youngsters to sketch out their very own rag doll creations in coloured pencils, before getting started on stitching, weaving, and sticking on their own personalised designs.

Dumyé provide beautifully handcrafted dolls created in art workshops to impoverished and orphaned children, as well as those who may have lost their families to conflict. What’s more, every time a doll is purchased, Dumyé’s one for one approach means that an underprivileged child will also be given their own doll.

With the holy month of Ramadan right around the corner, Dumyé’s buy to give drive might just be the perfect way to give back throughout May.
