Louis Vuitton Unveils A Trio Of Delights At Its Latest High Jewellery Event

From exquisite bridal pieces to one of the biggest rough diamonds in the world, the French fashion house displays three exciting experiences at its salon privée

They say three’s a crowd, but certainly not when it comes to diamonds – and, clearly, no one believes more strongly in this philosophy than Louis Vuitton. The French maison’s newest high jewellery creations are currently on display at its Dubai Mall store’s salon privée from now until March 8.

The event is comprised of a trio of different experiences, all involving diamonds – including a rare 1758 carat rough cut diamond known as ‘the Sewelo’ (means rare find in Setswana language.) The second-largest rough diamond to ever be discovered, it is known for its unique characteristics, like its composition and colour. ‘The Sewelo’ is also joined by ‘The Sethunya’ diamond; this 549-carat gemstone is estimated to be over a billion years old.

In addition to these rare finds, Louis Vuitton’s creative director of jewellery and watches, Francesca Amfitheatrof, is also presenting a collection of her own creations, including the likes of the Riders of the Knight – which pays tribute to medieval heroines – and Stellar Times, which is inspired by galactic exploration and the precious stones that can only be described as out of this world.

Lastly, the maison is also debuting its bridal collection, which includes a never-before-seen within the region LV Cut Ring, and a stunning variety of necklaces, bracelets, rings, and cuffs.

To view the pieces up close, contact the Louis Vuitton store in Dubai Mall to book your private appointment.
