10 of the Most Dazzling Timepieces at Watches and Wonders

Reflection de Cartier:

At this year’s Watches and Wonders event, Cartier unveils its latest marvel, the Reflection de Cartier, seamlessly blending illusion and luxury in a stunning timepiece. Featuring a mesmerizing trompe l’œil design, with a diamond-studded open cuff showcasing a timepiece on one end and a mirror on the other, offering versatility and elegance.

Enhanced with a combination of snow-set and inverted diamonds, this exquisite creation comes in four irresistible iterations.

Cartier – Animals

Cartier also unveiled it’s transition from its iconic Panthère motif, instead focusing on the captivating allure of crocodiles in its latest collection. These magnificent creatures wrap around dials in gem-set splendour, adding a touch of exotic elegance to each timepiece.

Amidst this crocodile-inspired lineup, Cartier pays homage to its feline friend with a striking design featuring a literal panther perched atop a vibrant, multi-coloured dial. Additionally, some pieces in the collection sport zebra-like stripes, reminiscent of Jeanne Toussaint’s beloved animal themes, further enriching the collection with Cartier’s signature style and creativity.

Chanel Bobbin Cuff

Chanel debuted a captivating collection of jewellery watches inspired by the tools of Coco Chanel’s couture artistry. These timepieces seamlessly blend functionality with haute couture elegance in unexpected ways.

The Bobbin Cuff, evocative of a spool of thread, cleverly conceals its watch beneath a luminous yellow sapphire set in gold, showcasing Chanel’s meticulous attention to detail.

Additionally, the collection boasts three other pieces—a watch, a necklace, and a ring—each resembling pin cushions, crafted from an exquisite array of materials including gold, diamonds, mother-of-pearl, and onyx.

Chopard Alpine Eagle Frozen – 41mm and 33mm

True to their name these frosty gems are sure to keep us cool this summer.

For the 41 mm version we see this model being a favourite among men and also women who enjoy the ‘boyfriend watches‘ trend. This memorising piece is adorned with 22.56 carats of diamonds and encased in what Chopard terms as Ethical white gold.

Meanwhile, the smaller 33 mm version boasts an in-house mechanical self-winding movement with a respectable power reserve of 42 hours, a feature not commonly found in this size watch.

Chanel Haute Horlogerie – Pink Editions

Just when you thought Barbie fever was coming to an end, Chanel unveils another favourite with four pink limited editions—two J12s and two Boyfriend models— abundantly adorned with the rosy hue. While all designs feature the house’s signature beige gold, three boast bezels set with baguette-cut pink sapphires.

Chopard Imperiale

Chopard also makes a second appearance on the list thank this botanical brilliance.

This unique dial features a blue-green enamel background adorned with white enamel and pink mother-of-pearl marquetry flowers, each accented with an orange padparadscha sapphire or a diamond at the center makes this piece bloom with beauty.

The 18k white gold rims surrounding the gems echo Venetian quatrefoil motifs. Powered by the Chopard caliber 96.17-C, it boasts a 65-hour power reserve. Anyone sporting this is bound to be flourishing with floral charm this spring.
