The Federal Authority for Identity, Nationality, Customs and Ports Security (ICP) has just launched a new visa opportunity, allowing tourists to apply for a 60-day visa.
According to Time Out, the visa application must be issued before entering the country via the UAE PASS app or the ICP website via the offered Smart Services. The application form will be completed by the applicant, then sent directly to the Authority and the electronic services. The visa pre-extension costs only 200AED, costing travelers a total of 400AED, making it feasible to stay longer than 30 days.

How Long Can You Stay in Dubai On A Tourist Visa?
According to the ICP, tourists can start applying for either a 30-day or 90-day visa. With the opportunity for a one-time 60-day application, that must be completed prior to entering the UAE.
How To Apply For The Dubai 60-Day Visa
The exact process is as follows: Interested tourists must create an account on the ICP website or the UAE PASS app, fill in the required data and attach the necessary documents and then pay the fees mentioned above. Afterwards, it should take up to 30 days for applicants to find out whether or not they have been granted the 60-day visit visa. It is important to highlight, that this can only be done once per person.
This new rule is guaranteed to highly increase tourism in the UAE, and will make it easier for friends and family of residents to come to visit and enjoy the summer sun for longer periods of time.
