Ariana Grande Makes Her Debut As A Coach On “The Voice”
The award-winning singer joined the panel of judges for the season premiere
Pop music sensation Ariana Grande joined the panel of judges last night at The Voice‘s 21st season premiere — and, naturally, the Internet couldn’t get enough of the twenty-eight-year-old artist’s appearance on the series.
“Surprise !!! I am beyond thrilled, honored, excited to be joining @kellyclarkson @johnlegend @blakeshelton next season ~ season 21 of @nbcthevoice! @nickjonas, we will miss you,” wrote the award-winning singer in the caption earlier this year, when she announced her participation in the show.
Shortly after her announcement, she shared glimpses of behind-the-scenes from the set, giving all of us a hint of what to expect from the newest season.
In addition, Ariana shared her experience of being on set with the team, noting it was “the most ridiculous and fun. I adore these humans so much and am already an emotional wreck worrying about saying goodbye to everyone the day of the finale, and nothings even happened or aired yet. But yes ! tomorrow ! first promo. I love these people and this crew and my TEAM and everything about this. I can’t say anything else. but… simply cannot wait till we get started.”
At the season premiere last night, Ariana shared screen space with previous coaches Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, and Blake Shelton, where the four performed a mashup of Aretha Franklin’s “Respect” and Sam & Dave’s “Hold On, I’m Coming.”
She looked absolutely stunning in this bright pink ensemble by designer Prabal Gurung with a cowboy hat to finish the look, definitely a bold and powerful outfit for her performance.
The “Thank You Next” singer managed to successfully onboard singers to her team, including Katie Rae, Katherine Ann Mohler, Vaughn Mugol.
We can’t wait to see how the Ariana leads her team in the coming episodes. Stay tuned for more information!
