From AlUla to Dubai: The Chic Journey of the All-Ned Audi Q5

Audi Q5 takes on 2,300km across the region, proving its power and style in real conditions

Audi Middle East marked the arrival of the all-new Audi Q5 with an ambitious 2,300-kilometre drive that spanned Saudi Arabia and the UAE. Over five days, the third-generation Q5 was put through its paces across six cities, from AlUla’s winding roads to Dubai’s expressways.

The regional premiere wasn’t staged in a showroom but instead, it unfolded on real terrain – desert heat, mountain curves, coastal highways, and urban streets – giving media and lifestyle tastemakers the chance to experience the SUV in the same conditions drivers face every day.

“The Middle East is a region that moves – fast, far, and with intent,” said Rene Koneberg, Managing Director of Audi Middle East. “From AlUla to Dubai, the Q5 delivered with precision and confidence, proving its place in a landscape defined by momentum, diversity, and ambition.”

The convoy of eight Audi Q5s covered every kilometre without freight transport, a choice that underscored the car’s adaptability. With temperatures rising above 45°C, the drive revealed the SUV’s versatility: a human-centric interior, enhanced mild-hybrid technology, and advanced driver assistance systems built to handle both long-distance highways and tight city routes.

At the final stop on Sir Bani Yas Island, guests were treated to an exclusive preview of the all-new Audi Q3. Scheduled to launch in the Middle East in 2026, the Q3 carries the same forward-looking design and digital focus as the Q5, signalling a major expansion of Audi’s regional line-up.

In total, the roadshow covered six cities, two countries, and 2,300 kilometres – a journey designed to show how the Audi Q5 fits seamlessly into the way people move across the region. For drivers looking for a blend of performance, style, and everyday practicality, the Q5 has arrived to set the pace.
