Burberry Celebrates British Style Like Never Before At London Fashion Week
Burberry’s LFW show embraced countryside charm, period drama elegance, and timeless British style
Burberry closed London Fashion Week yesterday and the heritage maison didn’t disappoint. The collection embraced a rich, autumnal palette of deep browns, muted greens, blues, and burgundy, giving each piece a sense of warmth and utterly-English elegance. Textural elements such as velvet, tartan, and fringe added depth, reimagining traditional artisanal fabrics with fresh, contemporary elements.
Drawing inspiration from escapes to the British countryside and period dramas, the collection blended traditional patterns with modern silhouettes. Tartan was the standout print throughout the show, appearing on coats, skirts, scarves, and trousers, while high-knee boots brought an elegant equestrian touch.
The guest list and runway line-up included a fleet industry icons, with Naomi Campbell and Lila Moss gracing the catwalk, while the front row welcomed its usual mélange of actors, models and It girls.

Among the high-profile guests were Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, White Lotus star Jason Isaacs, Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz Beckham, and Taylor Hill. Held at the iconic Tate Modern, the runway itself featured a unique selection of models. Among them were actors from period dramas, including Elizabeth McGovern from Downton Abbey, Jessica Madsen from Bridgerton, and Richard E. Grant. Their presence perfectly aligned with Burberry’s timeless image, reinforcing the brand’s deep-rooted connection to British culture and heritage.
