A Celestial Wonder: Burberry Celebrates Its Constellation Capsule Collection With A Series of Regional Pop-Up Events This Ramadan
The iconic British luxury brand’s latest campaign explores celestial motion and the ways in which humans are connected through time and space…
Imagine a place where the celestial world collides with the terrestrial; this is the image that is conjured in Burberry’s latest campaign for its new Constellations capsule collection – one which will soon be celebrated with its very own series of experiential events throughout the region this Ramadan.
While designer pop-ups have taken the GCC by storm in recent months the luxury British fashion house will highlight the beauty of its newest creations through a number of pop-up activations, taking place in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Jeddah and Riyadh this April.

Featuring celestial prints and ombré colourways, the capsule highlights the idea that we are all harmoniously interconnected through the passage of time. The colour palette, which includes gradient blue and maroon, as well as a soft vanilla beige, echoes the changing colours of the sky as day fades to night – a rhythm we all collectively witness every day.

Lensed by Mous Lambarab and starring models Yelibe Tilahun and Ansar Elyagoubi, the campaign was shot against the rugged backdrop of the UAE’s Wadi Naqab ravine, a terrain moulded by the sands of time. The beauty of the divots and indents etched into the canyon are echoed by the embroidered gold designs of constellations in the new iterations of Burberry’s signature Lola, Olympia and TB handbags and the sleeves of Italian-woven silk dresses, capes, skirts and blouses.

The collection, designed by Ricardo Tisci, Burberry’s Chief Creative Officer, features womenswear, footwear, leather goods, childrenswear, soft accessories and jewellery. Notable pieces from the capsule include a quilted black runway bag embellished with a celestial gold design and gold hardware as well as a sumptuous silk long-sleeve dress decorated with a gold cosmic print and a gold-plated chain-link bracelet and necklace set, both adorned with the iconic Thomas Burberry Monogram.

The full collection will be available at pop-ups across the region, which will be held from April 15 – 30 at The Dubai Mall; The Galleria Mall in Abu Dhabi; U Walk in Riyadh; and Boulevard in Jeddah.
