Today marks International Women’s Day 2023.

According to Arabian BusinessSaudi Arabia has released an updated list consisting of 13 new domestic labour jobs available to women.

On March 8, 2023, the Middle East publication revealed that the Kingdom’s Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD) expanded its list of professions women can be recruited for when using Musaned – a new online program that addresses issues concerning domestic migrant work in the Kingdom.

Saudi Arabia has made it its mission to increase the number of women in the workplace. According to data collected by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, 2022 saw female labour participation in the Kingdom reach a record 37 per cent.

According to Arabian Businessthe new roles available to women consist of a driver, personal care worker, home tailor, home manager, private tutor, home farmer, home coffee maker, private speech, hearing specialist and support worker.
