City Icons, Reimagined: Discover DKNY’s A/W25 Vision for Young Dressers
DKNY celebrates 35 years with a Junior Collection full of New York spirit
Whether it was on the streets of Manhattan or making cameos in cult ’90s films, DKNY has long been part of New York’s fashion story. Thirty-five years later, the brand is still shaping how personal style is expressed – this time by its youngest fans. After all, children’s wardrobes often need to work just as hard as their parents’, whether for birthday parties, afterschool plans or family outings.
Designed for ages four to sixteen, the Autumn/Winter 2025 line takes its inspiration from the brand’s most recognisable silhouettes. The cape, pencil skirt, biker jacket and wool coat are reconceptualised in mini-me versions, crafted with on-trend fabrics like sequins, mesh, textured knits, eyelet denim and plush teddy textures.
For girls, the season line-up includes three themes. NYC Party captures a festive mood with sequins that light up neutral tones, Heart of New York celebrates the label’s signature heart logo in a vivid palette of fuchsia, grey, black and white and finally, the Brooklyn Mindset selection takes a softer approach utilising powder pink, sky blue and light denim. The boys’ collection features two different variations. NYC Cab plays with bold graphics inspired by the city’s yellow taxis, paired with versatile neutrals, whereas Digital Blue leans modern, combining electric blue and denim with pale green accents, with its standout pieces being outerwear like the teddy jacket.

With knitwear now expanded to include dresses, capes, sweaters and reversible skirts, DKNY offers comfort with elegance. This is a collection made for a generation that dresses with confidence and effectively embraces the pace of New York.
