Coperni to Stage S/S 25 Fashion Show at Disneyland Paris

The iconic Paris theme park will partner with the French maison for its first ever fashion show

French fashion house Coperni has announced that it will host its upcoming S/S 25 ready-to-wear show at Disneyland Paris, during Paris Fashion Week on October 1. The park, often hailed as ‘the happiest place on earth’ has never hosted a fashion show before, and with Coperni scheduled to close the fashion month schedule, we expect they will send editors off with a bang.

Coperni took to Instagram in a shared post with Disney to announce this historic moment, and comments suggest that fans are already excited to see the magic come to life.

The brand is renowned for unforgettable fashion moments upon its runways, such as Bella Hadid’s spray-on dress at its S/S23 show, which went viral. As Disney is famed for its epic lights, fireworks and drone shows, it seems likely that special effects will play some part in the performance.

The co-artistic directors of Coperni, Arnaud Vaillant and Sebastien Meyer, shared their excitement in a heartfelt post on Instagram. The pair quote Mr Walt Disney, “It all began with a dream…” and explain how much this means to them as French designers; that the park is a dream destination and a huge source of inspiration. They emphasise how Disneyland Paris is all about entertainment and emotion, from the movies to the characters, and much like a fashion show, there is so much magic.

Our predictions for the show? We can definitely expecting something spectacular – Zendaya’s red carpet moment at the 2019 Met Gala immediately comes to mind – but we suspect that Coperni will manage to mix the magic with their own minimalist and modern aesthetic.
