COS Arrives With a Refreshed New Look at Mall of the Emirates

Loved for its understated take on style, the label has made a name for itself in the UAE since its 2013 debut in Dubai Mall, having since expanded to six stores across the country.
The brand’s latest offering arrives at Mall of the Emirates with a fresh retail experience featuring elevated essentials across the womenswear and menswear collections. Look out for exquisite craftsmanship, modern design details, and unique silhouettes.
The store opened its doors on January 20 to a star-studded guestlist (including former Bazaar Arabia cover star Huda El Mufti), media partners, and shoppers eager to fill their baskets.
The 401-square-metre layout features a calm, neutral palette and pieces from several acclaimed designers, which set a sophisticated tone for the interior. The brand’s ready-to-wear clothing is arranged on sleek aluminium railing systems, while a custom-designed table, crafted in Italy from plywood and natural pigments by Paper Factor, serves as a focal point. Grassi Pietre terrazzo flooring and plush and hand-tufted rugs by Kasthall tie the setting together.
Over in the seating area, the Sesann sofa by Tacchini brings a relaxed element to the space. In addition, HAY’s Chisel lounge chairs offer a clean and structured look, with their plywood frames lending a sense of artisanal precision.
The fitting rooms provide a more intimate atmosphere, where NOR11’s upholstered daybeds and pouffes are paired with dark wood accents. Helle Mardahl’s candy-coloured Bon Bon wall lamps are also placed throughout the store, providing warm, playful lighting.
