Schiaparelli at Mandarin Oriental Jumeirah, Dubai
A tribute to the celestial fascination of founder Elsa Schiaparelli, Mandarin Oriental Jumeirah Dubai has launched its festive season with the unveiling of a spectacular Christmas tree, a couture creation by Daniel Rosberry for Maison Schiaparelli. Echoing the rays of the Apollo of Versailles, the tree is constructed from 960 metal rods rotating inwards, reflecting Roseberry’s reimagining of Schiaparelli’s zodiac collection. Inspired by his Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2025-26 collection, a red beating heart is at the core of the tree. Blending traditional craft with modern technology, the tree is built on a 3D-printed structure that is decked with 1,458 red Swarovski crystals, leaving the heart to mechanically pulse at 60 beats per minute. The tree is a curation of Schiaparelli’s ongoing residence, where an exclusive festive offering at the hotel includes the Middle East’s only Schiaparelli Suite.

Burberry at Claridges Hotel, London
Celebrating the collaboration between Burberry and Claridge Hotel London, Daniel Lee debuted a 16-foot Christmas tree this winter. David Laport at Pulitzer Amsterdam
A centerpiece of their “Couture Christmas”, Pulitzer Amsterdam collaborated with Dutch couturier David Laport for this year’s Christmas tree installation. Inspired by Laport’s signature style of sculptural pleats, the tree shimmers with champagne-colored ornaments, featuring a dynamic of textures. Positioned in the Pulitzer Garden, the tree transforms traditional holiday decor into a statement of high fashion. The collaboration serves as a way of blending Laport’s international couture with Dutch craftsmanship.

Charles Kaisin at The Dolder Grand, Zurich
A contemporary creation by Belgian designer Charles Kaison, a far from traditional tree floating composition at The Dolder Grand in Zurich, composed of 1,200 hand-folded golden origami doves suspended by red thread, the shimmering structure forms a silhouette of a Christmas tree. Swaying gently, the tree symbolizes peace and creativity without limits, foreshadowing the projects that will take place in the coming new year. Internationally renowned for incorporating origami into his work, Kaisin designed the piece to embody a festive symbol full of light and inspiration for the holiday season.

Mercedes Bellido at The Madrid Edition
“The Flight” is this year’s Christmas tree at The Madrid Edition, a reinterpretation of the classic tree concept by Spanish artist Mercedes Bellido. Sculpted with 250 handcrafted white ceramic doves- a symbol of harmony and love, the tree stands at the hotel’s iconic spiral staircase. Resting upon a metal structure, each dove is made in white, earthy clay, representing the balance between fragility and strength. Bellido’s personal imprint is reflected in the structure, giving the impression of a serene, luminous movement.

Shane Keeling at Art’Otel, London
A towering, nine-foot masterpiece, “MAS-X.3” by artist and ceramicist Shane Keeling, is this year’s Christmas tree at Art’Otel London Hoxton. The creation serves as the centerpiece for the hotel’s festive season, sculpted from 90 reconstructed broken porcelain toys; the fragile yet powerful texture emphasizes the conceptual depth of the abstract piece. The structure illuminates from within, emphasizing the intricate details of the smooth white surfaces of salvaged material. This artistic interpretation is a memorable festive staple that is displayed in the hotel’s reception area, setting a unique modern tone for the holidays.
