Many residents took to Instagram to react to the dreamy clip. Some were astonished at the possibility of experiencing a snow-laden Abu Dhabi while others celebrated the UAE’s warm weather and talked about its charm.

While high-lying regions such as Jebel Jais in Ras Al Khaimah have experienced snow in the past, it is very likely that Abu Dhabi will witness snowfall in the near future.
The possibility of this is even higher since, according to Arabian Business, the northern region of Saudi Arabia has been having snowfall lately.
Whatever the future holds for the residents of the city, it sure is exciting to envision a snow-covered Abu Dhabi.
The UAE has seen some intense weather in the past few years, particularly when it comes to rain and flooding.
After having weeks filled with nothing short of picturesque skies and perfect temperatures, heavy rains hit parts of Dubai a few days ago and it’s looking likely we can expect to see more cloudy skies and rainfall over the course of the week.
According to The Official UAE Weather Instagram page, the weather fluctuations will be across various Emirates and not just Dubai.

Footage of the leaks and floods at the mall have been circulating social media with the above clip showing inches-deep water inside some of the mall’s stores.
“Dubai Mall was affected by the heavy rainfall, causing leakages in limited areas,” said an Emaar spokesperson at the time of the flooding. “We are working to contain all leakages and the mall remains operational and open to the public. Mall staff are on the ground, ensuring the visitor experience remains unaffected.”
