Dior’s Milly Dentelle Collection Is Inspired By The Maison’s Blooming Gardens
An opulent tribute to CHRISTIAN DIOR’s haute couture and the verdant landscapes that inspired him, the Milly Dentelle collection celebrates both Mother Nature and man-made savoir faire
Victoire de Castellane, the visionary behind Dior’s fantastical high jewellery creations, has once again reimagined the house’s rich heritage with its new Milly Dentelle collection. Drawing inspiration from the lush gardens surrounding Christian Dior’s retreat in Milly-la-Forêt, the collection is a captivating homage to nature, conjuring a whimsical landscape where flowers, foliage, and asymmetrical curves intertwine in a symphony of diamonds and pearls.
The collection boasts 76 extraordinary pieces, each crafted with a delicate touch of white, yellow, and pink gold, resembling the exquisite lace used in many of the founder’s sublime haute couture creations.

“This collection is a tribute to Monsieur Christian Dior’s two passions: the refi ned elegance of haute couture and the lush floral beauty of the landscapes of Milly-la-Forêt,” explains Victoire. “Delicately cut motifs reveal floral friezes, while lace landscapes are highlighted with small pearls and pavé stones.” The airy, almost ethereal quality of the necklaces, bracelets, rings, and earrings allows each stone to shine brightly and mimic the delicacy of nature’s most refined guipure lacework, like rain dancing on a spider’s web, or light pouring through dappled leaves.
