Dior Sprinkles A Little Luck With A Makeover Of Its Most Iconic Bags
Creative Director, Jonathan Anderson, reimagines the timeless Lady Dior, Book Tote, and Bow Bag collections for S/S26
With a new year comes new beginnings, and in the world of fashion, that means new collections. At Dior, the concept of renewal is taken quite literally under the creative direction of Irish designer, Jonathan Anderson, who assumed the role in April 2025. For the latest Lady Dior styles, the House centres its vision on luck – an evergreen symbol of hope and prosperity. After all, what’s a new journey without a touch of good fortune?
Reinventing three popular styles – the Lady Dior, Book Tote, and Bow bag – with imaginative iterations, Jonathan’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection sets a fresh tone for the year ahead.
Lady Dior
What first began in 1994 as the Chouchou, and later eternalised by Princess Diana as the Lady Dior, has undergone multiple reinventions over the years under the creative direction of John Galliano, Raf Simons and Maria Grazia Chiuri. And now, under the care of Jonathan – with a nod to his Irish heritage – his first interpretation of the bag marks the start of his chapter with Dior accessories. From the Clover Lucky Green to the Buttercup, this season is full of bold surprises.

Dior Book Tote
As The Book Cover Collection expands, it continues to celebrate history within the literary world, translating the power of storytelling into wearable art. The new collection features a series of classic literary covers embroidered onto the bags, including favourites such as Bram Stroker’s Dracula, Madame Bovary by Gustave Flaubert, In Cold Blood by Truman Capote, and Les Fleurs du Mal by Charles Baudelaire.

Dior Bow
The bow is a recurring motif within the maison’s design DNA, always adding a touch of playful energy. The new collection exhibits a romantic colour-palette that embodies soft-chic glam. The Bow Bag stands as a sophisticated centrepiece, paying homage to the brand’s femininity and empowerment.

The new season accessories will be displayed at a Selfridges pop-up from January 8, 2026, and for those who want to explore the Spring/Summer 2026 collection online, visit dior.com
