As of Wednesday, September 28 masks will no longer be mandatory in public spaces, including schools and shopping malls. This also goes for beachgoers, outdoor enthusiasts and anyone walking around outside in Dubai (and throughout the rest of the UAE).

According to Arabian Business masks will still be required in some places such as medical facilities, hospitals, mosques, places of worship, and public transport; social distancing rules at mosques will be removed.
