Doha Launches A Stylish Festival With Fashion Industry Insiders
Renowned beauty guru and entrepreneur Mona Kattan and worldwide fashion icon Leonie Hanne are set to join Bazaar in Qatar and will bring the three day programme to its close
Prepare for a dazzling three days of fashion and beauty at the immersive pop-up event taking place this week in Doha from November 21-24, 2024.
Qatar’s much-loved destination Doha Festival City has joined forces with Harper’s Bazaar Qatar – unveiling a showcase of exclusive masterclasses, runway shows, and panel talks from some huge names in the fashion and beauty industry.
Front Row Live will seamlessly blend style and culture – showcasing a special selection of luxury brands such as Chopard, Mikimoto, Marli, Harvey Nichols Doha and Montblanc.
Kicking off the event is Fashioning the Future, led by Director of M7, Maha Al Sulaiti – where Qatar’s burgeoning creative industries will be explored. Next on the list is Creatives, United, where Amira Al-Jaziri and Alanoud Jassim will discuss the outstanding creative community which thrives in Qatar. Guests can also expect runway shows by Hera, Ava, List Roma, Aura and Alma Nova.
The festival’s opening night will also showcase a new sustainability exhibition as part of the Emerging Voices programme. Curated by renowned sustainability advocate and esteemed designer Gills Manjulakshmi, the exhibition will present leading collections from a selection of Qatar based creatives such as M7 alumni, Scale7 and VCUarts Qatar from the likes of Mhefhef, Mohammad AlBaker, Washy Line, SR by Sonali Raman, Aadima and Witr.
Calling all fragrance lovers… Front Row Live will feature a Creed masterclass by Abdelaziz AlSafadi, who will impart his olfactory expertise. Leading celebrity stylist and Bazaar Arabia’s very own Nour Bou Ezz is also set to give fashion tips and tricks with an exclusive styling session on new-season trends.
MAC’s Global Senior Artist Mariam Khairallah will also be making her way to Qatar to host her first ever masterclass in Doha. Afterwards, attendees can expect a captivating evening runway show from Maje and Sandro; followed by Luisa Spagnoli.
Wellness enthusiasts can enjoy a serene morning with former Bazaar cover star and pioneering practitioner Jawaher Al Fardan – where she will join Bazaar and Alo Yoga for a blissful Rise and Shine morning session. Welcoming big names in the beauty industry, the event will include a Charlotte Tilbury masterclass with esteemed beauty icon and Bazaar Qatar coverstar Haneen Al Saify. The final day will also see Amouage Creative Director join Harpers Bazaar for an engaging in-conversation.
