Dubai Mall Has Been Transformed Into A Winter Wonderland
From supersized snowflakes to thousands of shimmering crystals, Dubai Mall is bedecked with splendour to celebrate the holiday season
Just in time for Santa to start doing his rounds, Dubai Mall has been turned into a Winter wonderland, bringing the festive season to live with a winter forest scene. Offering a magical and immersive experience for young and old alike, the frosted landscape invites guests to discover sparkling snow and festive cheer, bedecked with twinkling lights and seasonal touches. From sparkling ornaments to opulent garlands, there are plenty of pretty creations to spoil all the family.
For Dubai Mall Fashion Avenue, talented artist Dimitri Shabalin has crafted a masterpiece entitled Air Castles, composed from recycled children’s toys. Celebrating the magic of childhood memories, each piece has been hand-painted and adorned with precious crystals. An ode to celebrating the festive season sustainably, visitors can pause and rediscover the joy of imagination in glittering splendour.
The sparkle doesn’t stop there – the entire Fashion Avenue is shimmering with crystal-adorned trees, snow-dusted pines embellished with twinkling ornaments, and each grand column is bedecked with 2,500 glass crystals elements. Looking to the skies, the mall’s atriums have been bestowed with 200 sparkling chandeliers, while over 100 km of lights are suspended across the grand atriums and walkways.
Step into the fashion dome, and guests will find another winter dreamscape. With a central grand chandelier, supersized snowflakes are suspended to dance mid-air, to create a radiant, illuminated canopy of light and wonder. Not yet stocked up for Christmas?
