Egyptian Singer Sherine Abdel-Wahab Is In The Hospital
The award-winning star is undergoing treatment
Egyptian singer, actress, and former judge on MBC’s The Voice, Sherine Abdel-Wahab, is in the hospital.
According to ET Bil Arabi, who broke the news earlier, the star was beaten by her brother Mohamed Abdel Wahab and is now undergoing several treatments.
The source also confirms that Sherine Abdel-Wahab has filed a complaint against her brother, saying she was attacked and forced to be admitted to a mental health hospital.
The official Egyptian Public Prosecution’s Facebook and Twitter account confirmed the news and released a statement that said, “The Public Prosecution is investigating the complaint submitted by the lawyer of the artist / Sherine Abdel Wahab.”
Earlier, the artist was admitted to having several mental health issues leading her to take professional help, confirmed by her family members in a television interview with Amr Adib on the “Al-Hekaya” program.
On October 6, Sherine took to Instagram to promote her upcoming show in Kuwait with a heartfelt caption that says, “My fans in Kuwait i miss you so much .. can’t wait to see you at the Arena 360 mall on the 29th of October be there ❤️.”
The award-winning singer hasn’t shared any additional information on her social media pages, this is all all we know at the moment.
