The Lebanese designer is joining forces with Riyadh Season to create an experiential activation that combines fashion and entertainment, with plans to present its Fall 2025 collection during the event
2024 is shaping up to be an exciting year for fashion here the region.
Just days after Dubai Fashion Week revealed its upcoming dates for the Autumn-Winter 2024 season – beating out NYC by official being the first major city to kick off the sartorial calendar – Elie Saab announced plans to join forces with Riyadh Season to present not only a new collection – Elie Saab Riyadh Season Collection for Fall 2025 – but an immersive experience that combines the best of entertainment and style.
Elie Saab To Unveil An Immersive Experience and New Collection in Saudi Arabia
The partnership was announced over the weekend in London by His Highness Prince Bader bin Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Farhan Al Saud, KSA’s Minister of Culture; H.E. Hamed Mohammed Hamed Fayez, Deputy Minister of Culture; Elie Saab Group CEO Elie Saab Junior; and Riyadh Season advisor H.E. Turki Alalshikh.
“We are thrilled to participate in Riyadh Season 2024. We will be preparing something unprecedented and new to mark this important occasion and celebrate the city of Riyadh as it continues to support creativity and the diversity of culture in the region,” Mr. Elie Saab said.
“In Riyadh Season, we collaborate with renowned international figures from different domains to enhance the entertainment choices. One of these collaborations is with Elie Saab, a prominent name in the fashion industry. We aim to showcase a collection in the upcoming season that will captivate fashion enthusiasts worldwide,” H.E. Turki Alalshikh said.
While further information about the experiential event has yet to be revealed (which may include the unveiling of a new collection, as speculated by some sources), the partnership pays testament to the brand’s cherished relationship with The Kingdom and its influence on Saudi style.
In May 2023 the brand opened its first flagship store in The Kingdom at Via Riyadh Mall.
