From Yasmine Sabri to Mai Omar, Here’s How Regional A-Listers Are Taking Paris Fashion Week By Storm

From feathers galore to slick back hair and statement jewels, here’s what our favourite regional creatives wore to the most glamourous week in the fashion industry​

Paris Fashion Week 2022 went by faster than we could even blink with some of the most extravagant runway shows in fashion history. For instance, Bella Hadid’s innovative spray-on dress by Coperni and Kanye’s debut as a catwalk model on his own Yzy Szn 9 Fashion Show.

And that’s not all, regional A-listers didn’t shy away from their on-point ensembles, like Karen Wazen’s super chic black Rick Owens gown or Negin Mirasalehi’s barbiecore Valentino moment, that gave us endless amounts of style inspiration.

Karen Wazen, Rick Owens

The Lebanese-British entrepreneur stunned at the one of the biggest fashion events of this year in a sleek black Rick Owens gown. The strapless figure-hugging number featured a latex-like finish and angled cut-outs. She finished the look with slick hair and jewels by Messika.

Negin Mirsalehi, Maison Valentino

The founder of honey-based haircare products brand, Gisou, and Harper’s Bazaar Arabia‘s July-August cover star donned the shade of the season – Valentino Pink – wearing an ensemble from the label’s Pink PP Collection. The oversized knit sweater with a deep neckline paired with chunky heels makes for the perfect Maison Valentino look.

Rym Saidi, Maison Alaia

The Tunisian model and influencer chose an out-of-the-box, all-white creation by Maison Alaia. The mid-length dress featured a cinched waist with a belt, big sleeves and the most interesting part, a hood. She finished the look with a bright pink clutch by Bulgari for a pop of colour, and pumps by Fendi.

Jessica Kahawaty, MÔNOT

The Lebanese-Australian model and entrepreneur looked beautiful in an all-black ensemble by MÔNOT, featuring a thigh-high slit, asymmetrical torso cut-outs and long, black gloves. She completed the look with sleek, straight hair parted down the middle, a glittery bag and metallic statement earrings.

Diala Makki, Elie Saab

Diala Makki opted for a gorgeous lace mini dress by Elie Saab for her appearance at Paris Fashion Week this year. The black dress featured full sleeves and a high turtle neck. The Lebanese TV presenter and media personality paired the dress with killer thigh-high boots for and soft curls for a glamorous, chic look.

Mai Omar, Maison Valentio

Egyptian actress Mai Omar donned a dramatic, bright orange Maison Valentino creation. Styled by Sabina, the jalabiya style featured extensive ruffle detailing all around the sleeves and the hems, and had a deep V-shaped neckline. She completed the look with a silver-grey mini bag, also by the label.

Yasmine Sabri

The Egyptian actress channelled elegant-chic in a black and white coat and colourful pumps. She accessorised with a bright orange-red handbag and sparkly eye makeup.

Rania Fawaz, Sandasimonastudio

The blogger donned a modern creation by Sandasimonastudio, featuring a sweetheart neckline peeking from under the black fabric and blue ribbon criss-cross detailing on the slit. She completed the look with sunglasses by vintage eyewear label Seconde Vue.
