Go big or go home – that is essentially what the Grammy’s red carpet commands. The ceremony’s more ‘relaxed’ dress code opens the flood gates for designers and stylists alike to let their creativity run wild, and time and time again we are treated to surprising – sometimes even shocking – but invariably memorable red carpet fashion.
Two trends that we spotted? Y2K and volume. And lots of it.

While some celebrities came ready to party, throwback style, others came dressed for a night at the ball.
