Gucci Unveils The Gucci Nojum Collection And Campaign

The maison’s most iconic classics are reimagined in shimmering shades of sand to celebrate Ramadan

Inspired by the special celebration of Ramadan, Gucci has turned to the Arabic word for stars, nojum, to craft an elegant new collection and campaign that explores the significance of the season through sophisticated storytelling – harnessing plays of light, colour, shadow and shine. Shot by Prod Antzoulis in Sharjah, the campaign showcases the collection subtly illuminated by the light of dusk and dawn.

Riffing on the contrast between sand and sky, the collection captures the raw, natural beauty of desert sandscapes. Marrying vivid hues with a curated colour palette of chic neutrals, the collection is both bold and timeless, evoking the jubilant celebration of the season while still offering classic designs that will easily slip into any capsule wardrobe.

Some of the maison’s most iconic designs are reimagined through this lens – the Bamboo 1947, Jackie Notte, and Gucci Diana bags are presented in iridescent leather, while the cult classic Horsebit loafers and Guccia Signoria slingbacks subtly shimmer on the dunes. When it comes to ready-to-wear designs, the collection offers chic separates that lean on lightweight fabrics in earthy tones, along with elegant evening dresses to suit after-dark events.

If you’re short on celebratory gift ideas for when Ramadan draws to a close, each piece is a contemporary classic that can’t fail to deliver a smile – it simply doesn’t come much chicer than this.

The Gucci Nojum collection is now available in select stores across the GCC, worldwide and online at gucci.com.
