Here Are The World’s Highest-Paid Actors

Mark Wahlberg takes the top spot

Mark Wahlberg is officially Hollywood’s highest-paid leading man, having earned $68 million (249,764,000 dhs) in the last year. The Transformers: The Light Knight star knocked out last year’s champion Dwayne Johnson.

Published by Forbes Magazine, Dwayne Johnson dropped to second place at $65 million (238,745,000 dhs), followed by Vin Diesel, Adam Sandler and Jackie Chan.

The annual list looks at actor’s salaries (before tax) over 12 months (June 1, 2016 to June 1, 2017). According to the rankings, the top 10 highest-earning males took home about three times more than the top 10 scoring women.  

As for actresses, Emma Stone took the top spot with earnings of $29 million. Newbies to the list include Ryan Reynolds, Ryan Gosling, Jeremy Renner and Mark Ruffalo.
