House of Bazaar 2022: All The Highlights From Day One
From a conversation with Karen Wazen to a styling masterclass by leading industry experts, House of Bazaar 2022 kicked off with a bang yesterday
The first day of House of Bazaar has come and gone with the first few talks and styling sessions by leading experts from the region – and beyond. From popular A-listers and creatives to industry pioneers, yesterday’s affair set the tone for the upcoming days.
As guests arrived at the House of Bazaar stand, located in the Luxury Galleria, they were invited to explore Bulgari’s stunning jewellery and handbags, refresh their skin with Clarins at the Beauty Boudoir, while browsing some of the season’s hottest pieces at the Styling Suite, curated by Harper’s Bazaar Arabia‘s Market Editor, Nour Bou Ezz. Guests were also treated to delicious bites from Maia Lounge.
The event began with welcoming speeches from the General Manager of the Mall of Qatar, Emile Sarkis, Publisher of Harper’s Bazaar Qatar, Bianca Brigitte Bonomi, and H.E. The Ambassador of Italy to the State of Qatar, Alessandro Prunas. The day followed with a Salam Stores Fashion Live Tableau by Nour, where visitors could get all the styling tips and tricks from an industry expert.
After, Bazaar Qatar’s Bianca hosted ‘From Catwalk to Qatar,’ a conversation with leading experts, Reina Bouchakra, Senior Stylist at Al Jazeera, Elisabete Reis, Image Consultant and Stylist at the Stars of Science TV show, and Bazaar Arabia’s Nour Bou Ezz. The talk gave everyone insight into how stylists go about curating their new season wardrobes. Additionally, the experts disclosed this season’s trends, colours, and how to dress for your body shape. The first day also included a Per Lei Couture Trunk Show with hair and make-up done by WOW Beauty Salon and Temasq Beauty Salon.
And lastly, the opening night celebrations ended with a bag with a conversation with entrepreneur Karen Wazen. The social media sensation opened up about fashion, style, starting her own company, and much more.
