Flydubai, the Dubai-based carrier, has announced the launch of services to two destinations in KSA.

How To Get To The Red Sea: FlyDubai Announces Two New Routes

This includes the resumption of flights to Al Jouf and the start of operations at Red Sea International Airport. Starting on April 18, both destinations will be served twice-weekly from Terminal 2, Dubai International (DXB).

Red Sea International Airport (RSI) was built to provide an easy route for guests traveling to the area. Currently, the destination offers two luxury spots to stay: Six Senses Southern Dunes and St. Regis Red Sea Resort.

The area, an inlet of the Indian Ocean, is 500km north of Jeddah, between the Saudi towns of AlWajh and Umluj. Earlier this month, Football star Cristiano Ronaldo and his partner, Argentinian model Georgina Rodríguez were spotted enjoying the seaside at the destination.

Reportedly, three more resorts are on track to open this year. Upon full completion in 2030, The Red Sea will comprise 50 resorts, offering up to 8,000 hotel rooms and more than 1,000 residential properties across 22 islands and six inland sites.

The destination also includes luxury marinas, golf courses, entertainment, dining, and leisure facilities.
