From ultra-exclusive product collaborations and augmented reality experiences to local talents and trailblazers – here is how Harper’s Bazaar Qatar helped celebrate a moment in history
Since both Bloomingdale’s brothers joined together to open their very first flagship store on Third Avenue, New York in 1872 – the brand has since become a multicategory online department store and the forefront of retail. In 2010 the iconic store debuted its first regional store in The Dubai Mall and later followed with its second location at 360 Mall in Kuwait in 2017. Since then, Bloomingdale’s has now ranked as the top leading e-commerce platform within the region – providing a seamless delivery process all over the UAE, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
Now, 150 years on Harper’s Bazaar Qatar has partnered with Bloomingdale’s to celebrate and pay homage not only to the brand’s flourishing heritage and DNA; the event itself was hosted in the Museum of Qatar, further pressing into the appreciation of rich heritage and culture.
The Autumn/Winter 2022 celebratory campaign aims to showcase and embrace New York’s vibrancy, soul rich art and music. The faces of this campaign are regional public figures that represent the local culture as well as the future generation of market icons.
