The popular TV series is known to be one of everyone’s favourite (including ours) with its A-list star cast, spectacular plot, and of course, the endless style inspiration from the eight seasons.
On December 31, ABC hinted at a new revival series with a super exciting tweet that mentioned, ” *Desperately* waiting for 2022.” In addition, the post included a bold picture of the show’s lead actresses that caused a major social media buzz.
While 2022 marks the 10th anniversary of the finale episode, fans speculate whether the iconic series will be back this year. The tweet went viral with its endless re-shares, likes, and comments.
Based on the stories of four women who live on Wisteria Lane that unveil an array of challenges, romances, and secrets, Desperate Housewives is undoubtedly one of the most loved and watched shows ever.
In a recent interview with Khaleej Times, actress Eva Longoria mentions her love for the show and the role she played, “Gabby is a character who I will never tire of. If it wasn’t for her I wouldn’t have the platform to do what I do now, so I am forever grateful for her appeal worldwide.”
“Gaby was a guilty pleasure for so many people, as she was flawed and funny and such a well-written character. People loved the show and the combination of all the women together made us all household names, ” she added.
So, is Desperate Housewives coming back in 2022?
Currently, the creator of the show Marc Cherry and the cast have not confirmed the news, but from the looks of it, we all might be seeing a revival series super soon.
