Jennifer Lopez kicked off her birthday celebrations in style in the Hamptons last weekend with a Bridgerton-themed party. To begin with, the event was shrouded in mystery – guests were seen arriving by horse-drawn carriage, and interiors brand Serena & Lily were spotted delivering to the venue, which led fans on social media to speculate that J.Lo had had regency-themed furniture shipped in. The arrival of a florist’s van soon sparked rumours of the show’s signature lilac wisteria.
Today, the singer and actress shared videos of the night on her Instagram feed, where she wore an opulent dove grey gown with golden and floral details, channelling Queen Charlotte in spades. Her dress and jewellery were designed by Manish Malhorta, who most recently designed lavish gowns for the Ambani wedding. The diamond of the season, Lady Jennifer’s make-up was flawless, and her hair was piled into a Bridgerton-esque up-do, with a floral crown.
J.Lo also shared a post dedicated to her supporters, thanking them for her birthday wishes and continuous support. She captioned the post with a sweet message, saying “I could never express how moved I am or how incredibly blessed I feel to have all of you be a part of my life. Thank you sooooo very much. ???”
