Bollywood’s Favourite Couturier Manish Malhotra Unveils INAYA

From hand-embellished bridal lehengas to swirl skirts with hypnotic embellishments, INAYA positions couture as timeless design for celebrations

Kareena Kapoor Khan’s “Poo” in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Priyanka Chopra on international red carpets, and Aishwarya Rai’s unforgettable moments at Cannes, Manish Malhotra is a significant part of how South Asian glamour is seen, remembered, and reimagined.

With INAYA, his latest couture collection, he channels that same cultural presence into a more sober yet powerful vision, conceived during his evenings at home and designed for today’s ceremonies and soirées.

The line redefines cocktail couture as the designer forecasts a new vocabulary for after-dark dressing through crystal-draped saris that shimmer with modernity, swirl skirts with hypnotic rhythm, and corseted blouses. Sculpted gowns balance style with effortless elegance, while hand-embellished bridal lehengas honour traditional Indian wear.

That interplay between spectacle and subtlety is what has long defined Manish’s impact. Just as he has dressed Deepika Padukone in flowing saris on-screen and Janhvi Kapoor in sculpted gowns on magazine covers, INAYA continues that statement. Here, the same grandeur that once illuminated cinema translates into modern heirlooms designed for soirées, weddings, and celebrations.

On the menswear front, sleek tuxedos, cropped bandhgalas, and sharply tailored sherwanis reiterate that eveningwear could bring smart tailoring to the forefront. Elevated further with accents from Manish Malhotra High Jewellery, including enamelled brooches, collar pins, and heritage-inspired buttons, these pieces extend their inspiration into the modern man’s ceremonial dressing.

The high jewellery collection adds to the story. The offerings include sculpted earcuffs, chandelier earrings, and statement necklaces that embody the same sculptural fluidity as the couture, crafted with traditional savoir-faire in mind yet imagined in modern silhouettes. For men, enamelled brooches and diamond-studded buttons add subtle flair. Much like the films and red carpets that first cemented the couturier’s reputation, the collection speaks in cultural codes, however, the glitz is softened into a collection of timeless pieces.
